Peer Mediation

What is Mediation?

1.  A process to help solve conflicts between two or more people.

2.  A process by which the disputants decide on their own solutions to the conflict.

3.  A process in which the disputants feel the solutions are fair.

4.  A voluntary process.

5.  A process in which everyone is shown respect.

6.  A process which works on the concept of fairness rather than power.

7.  A process which respects the confidentiality of the people involved
